The Rotin Filé company was created in Bourg de Péage by Eugène Gaude in 1937, a collaboration was established in 1938 with René Gaude. From generation to generation, the company has crossed the 21st century through Roger Gaude from 1984 to 2014. Then his son, Régis Gaude took over.

The company's policy has remained intact for more than 80 years. She is always close to her customers and suppliers, she is family-oriented, respectful and enthusiastic.

With thousands of customers around the world, we are committed to having a close relationship with each of them to best advise and support their choice. Despite an embargo put in place by the Indonesian government in 2012, prohibiting the exit of raw and semi-raw Rattan from their territory, and the resulting supply difficulties, we do everything we can to meet your needs.

Over these years, the company has diversified its product range in the fields of basketry, marquetry, canework and remewing through its wide range of products.

Our goal for the future is to introduce rattan to as many people as possible and to allow rattan to become a flagship material for creative leisure.
